Abrahamic House DC invited guests for a Purim party and community Purim “spiel” or play. Purim is a Jewish holiday that celebrates how the Jewish Queen Ester thwarted the wicked plot against the Jews of Persia by the grand vizier Haman.
The fellows and their volunteers actors retold the story as a short, funny play!
On Purim, people typically dress up to heighten the joy and excitement of the holiday, so, even those who didn’t act, wore all sorts of creative costumes!
