Conversation Club & Shabbat Dinner: Community Without Religion

As religious participation declines and loneliness rises, our fellows and their guests explored the future of community. Can we find belonging without traditional structures? How might we support one another in “finding our people”? In an increasingly secular age, what, if anything, will replace the role of religious communities? These questions and more were posed at our intimate discussion group.

During Shabbat, we take time to pause, reflect and welcome in the day of rest. We want to re-orient ourselves away from distractions and towards the things that are most important in our lives.
