Through The Looking Glass – A (re)Bar Mitzvah Party

The Fellows invited their community to a most curious and enchanting celebration: the (second) Bar Mitzvah of our dear Jewish fellow, Austen. This year, he turned 31, but in the looking glass, this number peculiarly resembles 13! So guests tumbled down the rabbit hole and joined the fellows in Wonderland, where whimsy and wonder abound and everyone celebrated Austen and learned more about this important rite of passage!

At the beginning of the celebration, the fellows and their guests learned about the traditions and ceremony of becoming a Bar Mitzvah and heard a bit about coming of age customs in other religious traditions.

After Austen became a man (again), the party began! There was a Hora Wonderland Dance Extravaganza, joyous games curated by the Chai-shire Cat, mitzvah-themed puzzles and games, and everyone toasted to Austen’s journey into Jewish adulthood.
