Eid al-Adha: A Celebration of Community

The fellows hosted a warm and meaningful Eid al‑Adha celebration. The event began with a reflection on the significance of Eid, the Festival of Sacrifice, which honored Prophet Ibrahim’s faith, compassion, and commitment to community. Around 40 guests (including families, friends, and neighbors) joined Abrahamic House to share a hearty, communal meal. Many contributed dishes to share, creating a rich and diverse buffet.

Attendees described the event as a powerful moment of community connection. The fellows loved the diversity of dishes and the chance to hear stories around the table, which made the whole event feel like an extended family gathering.
