Illuminating the Year Ahead: Reflections and Candle Decorating on Yom Kippur

Before we gather at tables across the DMV to break the fast, we invite you to join us for a meaningful time of reflection and creativity. Yom Kippur is a day for looking inward, acknowledging where we have fallen short, and imagining how we might return to our best selves in the year ahead. Together, we will take a quiet moment to reflect on those we have wronged, the forgiveness we seek, and the ways we hope to move forward with compassion, strength, and purpose.

As part of this experience, we will also decorate candles — a symbol of light, renewal, and hope. This event is open to all who may be observing Yom Kippur or can sneak out on a work day 🙂

This event will take place on October 2nd from 3-5PM.

Location will be provided via email within 24-hours of the event.
