Yom Kippur is the Jewish day of atonement, a day where we dedicate our mind, body, and soul to reconciliation with our fellow human beings, ourselves, and God. On this day, our fate is sealed in the Book of Life and we take the time to reflect on the past year, seek forgiveness, and let go of the resentment we may hold toward others.
It is tradition before beginning the fast to gather for a meal, called the se’udah mafseket, to prepare for the day ahead. Please join us at Abrahamic House, whether you are fasting the next day or not, for a hearty, carb-heavy meal and learn more about this holy day!
This event will take place on Wednesday, October 1st, from 5:30-7:30PM.
Location will be provided via email within 24-hours of the event.
