Sharing Shabbat: A Night of Food, Faith, and Community

At our Shabbat Dinner Gathering, guests arrived to a cozy, welcoming space filled with community, delicious food, and intentional conversation. As everyone found their seats around beautifully set tables, we began with an introduction to the traditions and blessings of Shabbat, offering context for those new to the ritual and inviting all to take part.

Throughout the evening, we shared traditional prayers, reflective readings, and a warm, nourishing meal prepared by Ellen and catered by Little Sesame. The combination of homemade touches and collaborative effort made the experience feel both grounded and celebratory. With 25 people in attendance—the largest number we could fit—the room was full of energy, curiosity, and connection.

We were thrilled to see so many guests engage with the meaning behind Shabbat and share in the spirit of rest and togetherness. The night closed with laughter, gratitude, and a strong sense of community, marking a beautiful introduction to Shabbat for many and a memorable evening for all.
